Hong Kong Tourism Board continues to revamp Old Town Central, two of the oldest neighbourhoods in Hong Kong. This campaign features an immersive installation that blends art, history, and technology.

 

The immersive installation at PMQ showcases detailed illustrations that capture all the characteristics of Old Town Central. Simply hover your hand above the 8 key hotspots on the map, and you will be taken there.

 

Try on a Classic Look – Elgin Street

Wish you could travel back in time? Try on a rented qipao or cheongsam and stroll through Central for a stunning vintage moment.

Gas Lamps from the Colonial Era – Duddell Street

These four gas lamps have been the only surviving working gas street lamps in Hong Kong since 1967. Capture the sunset against this beautiful backdrop!

The Street side Studio Central – Mid-levels Escalator

Movie buffs would no doubt have seen this escalator — keep going to see if you remember any movie scenes filmed here!

Herbal CommuniTEA Hall – Cochrane Street

Back in the 50s and 60s, Hongkongers would hang out and watch TV at tea shops such as this one. Now, you too can pay a visit for a dose of herbal goodness.
